MOE Aspire Scholarship
Ministry of Education’s Aspire Scholarships Applications have opened for the 2012 round of the Ministry of Education’s Aspire Scholarship, with at least 50 Aspire Scholarships available for Year 9 students.

The Aspire Scholarship is for students from low income families who would like to attend a New Zealand private secondary school. The scholarship contributes up to $15,000 a year for private secondary school tuition fees and up to $1,500 a year for course related costs, while the student is at that school. Applications must be received at the Ministry of Education National Office in Wellington by 5pm on 9 May 2011. All eligible applications will go in a ballot and the available scholarships will be drawn at random.

Fullbright Scholarship - Fulbright New Zealand offers a range of awards - from postgraduate study awards to visiting scholar awards.

Barbara Wood Memorial Foundation
The scholarships are available to tertiary students who were born in the South Pacific region. Students wishing to study in New Zealand or anywhere in the South Pacific are eligble for funds.

AFS Pasifika Scholarship
AFS New Zealand is offering scholarships for Pacific Island students to take up the challenge to live and study overseas. Scholarships are valued at $10,000 for a year programme or cover the full exchange programme fee for a semester programme.

TeachNZ Scholarship
TeachNZ ECE Scholarships – These scholarships are targeted at people who have knowledge, understanding and experience working with Māori or Pasifika communities who want to teach in the early childhood sector.
